Charity Christmas meals

Those in need are again able to get a hot meal on Christmas day thanks to a Spalding chip shop.

Westlode Fisheries will open Christmas Day between noon and 2pm to serve hot meals to local homeless and vulnerable elderly people.

The chip shop will also donate ten per cent of its Christmas Eve takings to a local charitable cause.

Last year, around 35 people went along for the meals, cooked by owners Fardous and Sajid Ali.
