Charity ball in honour of sisters

A Holbeach mum who has lost two daughters in tragic circumstances is putting on a charity ball in their memory.

Annette Bramley has launched The Blue Skies #For Holly and Emma Charity Ball which will take place at Springfields Events Centre on Saturday, November 7.

Holly was murdered by her husband in 2023 when aged 26, while Emma died in a skydiving accident aged 31 in 2010.

Annette wanted to do something to honour their lives and put together the ball which will raise funds for the

Lincolnshire Domestic Abuse Specialist Services and the Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance.

“Raising funds for both these charities is imperative to keeping them going,” said Annette. “It amazes me that any of the air ambulance services that operate in this country are not government funded and must rely on public funding.”

A spokesman for the organisers said: “This is about honouring Emma and Holly’s lives and helping others in their name.

“Get ready to dance, mingle, and support a wonderful charity.

“Dress to impress and get ready for a night to remember. Let’s make a difference together!”

Tickets start from £60 and more information is available from https://www.tickettailor.com/events/blueskiesforholly/1677118

Annette would also like to talk to any businesses who may be interested in sponsoring tables or donating raffle prizes.
