Changes to planned closure of Winsover Road in Spalding

Changes to the closure of Winsover Road in Spalding have been announced.

Lincolnshire County Council has released a statement saying the road will now be closed overnight from Thursday to Saturday, March 1 to 3.

The change is due to the weather conditions.

The statement says: “Due to recent and upcoming adverse weather, the below changes have been made to the works programme:

  • Winsover Rd, from Carrington Rd to the level crossing, will be closed for resurfacing works on the evenings of Thursday 1st March & Friday 2nd March from 6pm to 6am.
  • Winsover Rd, east of the level crossing to the junction of Station Rd & Swan St, will be closed overnight for resurfacing works from Fri 2nd March and Saturday 3rd March, 6pm to 6am.

“The signed diversion route will be Bourne Rd & A151 to A15 to the A1175/A16 to A151/West Elloe Ave to Winsover Rd and vice versa.

“Please make alternative parking arrangements and thank you for your patience while these works are carried out.”
