Cat show was purr-fect

A healthy crowd took in a cat-alogue of feline talent at Springfields in Spalding last weekend.

The TICATs (The International Cat Association) and Cake Show proved a huge success with hundreds of people attending.
And there were around 150 pets entered into categories for the cat agility show.
The event manager Stefan Winman said: “It was amazing and far exceeded all expectations.
“With over 1,100 visitors throughout the weekend, we were determined to put on a proper show that everyone could enjoy.
“We had numerous people returning on Sunday, who came on Saturday, which is lovely.
“Our five judges were kept busy and handled just over 140 cats each, on each day.
“With the Cat Agility marquee and the Meet The Breeds area, there was so much to see that everybody was kept busy, entertained and certainly amused by the cats in the agility marquee.
“We had no idea it was going to be so popular and such great fun.”
Stefan says a new show is being put together for Springfields on June 29 and 30.
