Carnival royalty are crowned

The leaders of the annual Pinchbeck Carnival have been crowned for 2025.

The annual Entertainment Night at Pinchbeck Village Hall on Friday (March 13) saw a host of games and music put on for the community.
As ever, it also included the judging for the carnival ‘royalty’.
The trio who will open that event on Saturday, June, 14 are Eloise Bates, who won the ten to 16-year-old age group, Isla-Rose Howarth who came out on top in the eight to nine-year-old age group and Karter Bottomley who won the six to seven-year-old age.
John Pailing, chairman of the event, said: “Every year the Pinchbeck Carnival Committee, in one of the biggest events in South Holland, always look forward to seeing the royalty being crowned.
“This event to me is brilliant and highlights how wonderfully everyone pulls together to make this work.
“The games were great fun and made everyone join in and laugh.”
