Can you help find missing Leon?

The family of an “extremely vulnerable” 22-year-old from Whaplode are appealing for information after he went missing on Tuesday.

This morning the search is ongoing for Leon Sleight.

He was last seen at the family home around 6pm on Tuesday evening.

Leon is 5ft9, grey eyes, mousy brown hair which is longer on top.

He is possibly wearing black jeans, black hoody and brown shoes.

His family say Leon has Asperger’s Syndrome with autism.

They have put out appeals for information on social media including calling for anyone who may have dash-cam footage or CCTV footage having driven down or around High Road in Whaplode between 6pm and 10pm.

Leon’s uncle Simon Sleight told The Voice: “We have reason to believe Leon’s been abducted.

“He’s an extremely vulnerable young man and we believe he was taken from High Road in Whaplode at around 7.30pm to 8pm.

“He has links to the Peterborough particularly the Stanground area.

“We’d like to say to Leon that he’s not in trouble.

“A lot of us are worried and please could he contact us to let us know he’s safe.”

UPDATED – Lincolnshire Police have put out a new statement at 11.54am today (Tuesday).

“We would like Leon to contact us and let us know he is safe and well and also anyone with any information relating to his whereabouts is asked to get in touch.

“Leon’s family are very concerned about him and we would like to find him as soon as we can.

“Leon has friends in the Peterborough area and may have or be travelling to that area.

“We would like to hear from you if you have any information that could assist the inquiry.”
