Cal Davies struck a superb second-half equaliser as Holbeach United held high-flying Heacham to a 1-1 draw at Carter’s Park on Wednesday night.
After a goalless first half in the Thurlow Nunn Eastern Counties League Division One North clash, the Tigers fell behind early in the second period when Fletcher Toll netted for the second-placed visitors.
But Holbeach’s top scorer Davies showed his class with a lobbed leveller to earn a decent point.
