Brewing up for a good cause

It’s the season to raise a cup and some money for Macmillan Cancer Support.
The official date for its annual coffee mornings to be held is Friday (September 24).
But there’s plenty of mornings dotted around.
Getting them underway was Saracen’s Head Village Hall on Thursday, September 16.
They raised a brilliant £400 after volunteers baked a host of lovely cakes.
A spokesman said: “It was a really good event.”
Other coffee mornings in the area include one at Broad Street Methodist Church on Friday while The Tulip Queen public house off the A16 is hosting on Friday, October 1.

Send your coffee morning pictures and details to news@spaldingvoice.co.uk and don’t forget to include your contact details.
