Bourne SC A jump into the top spot

It’s all change at the top of Divisions One and Two in the Spalding and District Snooker League.

A free week for last week’s leaders Bourne SC B has seen them fall to fourth place, while clubmates Bourne SC A have jumped from fourth to first.
A 4-2 away win over Pyramid A saw them pick up enough points to push them to the summit of Division One.
In a crunch match between Consti E and Services C, Consti walked away 4-2 victors, moving them to second above now third placed Services.
At the other end of the table Sutton Bridge have moved off the bottom thanks to a 4-2 win away at Boundary A.
Pyramid D now sit at the foot of the division following a 5-1 loss at Services A.
There are new leaders in Division Two as Consti G thrashed Donington A 6-0.
Breaks of 58 and 20 from Mark Woodberry (O49) helped him to a win over John George (O7).
Second placed Holbeach F held their position thanks to a 5-1 win over Consti H.
They have the same points as Consti G but have lost one more frame overall. Consti have also played one match less.
Last week’s leaders Services D dropped to third place after a 6-0 whitewash at Gosberton A.
A 33 break from Alan Jackson (O7) helped Gosberton, who are second from bottom, to a great win.
Consti I are still at the bottom of the division having only won one match all season.
They went down 4-2 at home to Holbeach E.
Consti started off well with wins from Johnathan Smith (R21) and John Bellerby (R7), before losing the next three frames to Ben Harding (O28), Phil Coaten (O21) and Pete Ransome (O21).
Gosberton D are still top of Division Three despite not having a match this week.
Second-placed Whittlesey C closed the gap to two points with a 4-2 win over clubmates Whittlesey B.
Whittlesey C are still the only team in the whole league to have not lost a match this season, with eight wins from eight matches.
Consti J held onto third place despite a 4-2 loss away to Donington D this week.
Ken Staples (R14) snatched a win from Trevor Braybrook (R7) on a respotted black to get Donington’s first frame.
This was followed by Paul Whyte (R14) and Pat Taylor (R14) both winning black ball games to take the match for Donington.
Consti J’s winners were Les Andrew (R7) and Stewart Davies (O7).
Consti D remain at the bottom of the division following another loss.
They went down 4-2 at home to Donington B.
