Bid for 30mph speed limit

A group is calling for the 30mph area around Deeping St Nicholas to be extended to Hop Pole.

Catherine Waldon has led the calls for the measures in the village.
And she recently met up with South Holland and the Deepings MP Sir John Hayes.
He backed the campaigners.
“Traffic tends to speed up travelling through Hop Pole,” he said. “We need more action at that end.
“We need to extend the 30mph limit to make it safer down there.
“There are lots of elderly people and children in the area who are struggling to cross the road.
“I do think there’s a very good argument for Lincolnshire County Council to look at extending the 30mph to the whole of the village.”
