Bench boys’ community clean-up

A team of staff volunteers from Lincolnshire Co-op’s Long Sutton Food Store have been lending a hand to spruce up the local community.
Four colleagues spent a day getting two of the town’s benches into tip top shape.
They cut back foliage overhanging the seats at the entrance to the park on High Street and cleaned off rust with wire brushes before adding a fresh coat of paint.
The handy volunteers also found time to sand down and varnish the bench in the Long Sutton in Bloom garden to the side of the Lincolnshire Co-op Food Store.
