Beagle Tiana’s Crufts success

There was cause for celebration in South Holland when Donington dog breeders took honours at Crufts.

Mother and daughter Lynda and Pam Havard were delighted when their 22-month-old beagle Tiana won best of breed. She had taken the puppy title last year.

Dog lovers from around the world could be found in Birmingham at the NEC for the annual four-day event last week.

More than 19,000 dogs took part in the competition, all trying to take the top prizes.

Princess Tiana took the top spot in the beagle breed, adding to the success of the breeders. She also took fourth place in the hound section.

The daughter of 2019 breed champion Annavah Knick Knack, Princess Tiana is the latest in a long line of successful beagles bred in Donington.
