Art leader’s final exhibition at Sutton Bridge

This year’s St Matthew’s Church, Sutton Bridge, Annual Art Exhibition will be organiser Geoff De Roux’s last as he steps down from the post.

Geoff has organised the exhibition for the last seven years and now St Matthew’s Church is looking for someone else to lead the long-standing exhibition from next year.

The exhibition runs from 10am on Saturday, August 25 to 4pm on Friday, August 31, and will feature around 300 paintings by approximately 100 local artists.

These pictures are all available for sale, with a percentage of the money earned going to church funds.

The church’s first art exhibition was held in 1997 and started by the vicar at the time, Rev. Eileen Bangay.
