Appeal after hit and run involving HGV

Police have appealed for information after a HGV did not stop after being involved in a collision on the A16 at Crowland.

No-one was injured in the incident between the white lorry and a blue Ford Focus which occurred around 3.15pm on Friday, August 13.

Peterborough Police posted on social media: “Did you see a collision at about 3.40pm on Friday (13 August) involving a blue Ford Focus and a white HGV on the A16 at Crowland?

“Luckily nobody was injured, but the driver of the HGV did not stop at the scene. Officers are appealing for anyone who witnessed what happened to come forward and would particularly like to hear from the HGV driver.”
