It’s the unofficial tip in the centre of Spalding that people live only metres away from.
A corner of the Gore Lane car park is the site of huge piles of rubbish next to the Abbey Walk footpath.
Someone has put up cardboard signs to try and keep the recycling and green waste separate.
But even after collections there’s still a host of rubbish been left behind.
Pedro Chuller is one of those lives nearby.
He said the rubbish pile has got worse and though he’d complained, he’d not had a response from the council.
“It’s not good for public health,” Mr Chuller said.
Alan Barnsdale was appalled when he saw the state of it.
“I’m told it’s the same every week as it comes from all the flats around there and there’s all sorts of loose rubbish scattered around the bags,” he said. “Surely someone at the council can get the so called grot squad van to keep on top of it.”
A spokesman for South Holland said: “There have been instances in the past where collections have not gone ahead due to access issues.
“The collection point is situated at the rear of a busy car park, requiring our refuse vehicles to reverse in to gain access.
“If the car park is too busy, or there are cars parked in front of the collection point, this can unfortunately prevent the collection from taking place.”
