LETTERS – Closure not safe for pedestrians

The centre of Holbeach north side has a pavement closed off to pedestrians causing them to walk in the road with no provision for their safety!

I gave up pressing numbers for an answering machine at Lincolnshire County Council, no humans there.

I didn’t phone 999, tried 101 again, met another machine and an unanswered unmanned phone, tried new police station (closed).

I’ll just have to ignore the danger and hope the motorists continue to keep us safe.
