Another top season celebrated at Spalding Golf Club’s presentation night bash

Spalding Golf Club brought the curtain down on another successful season at their annual presentation evening.

It was another busy campaign at the club, where Mike Crampton and Hannah Thorold enjoyed a very successful year at the helm.

A total of 46 club competitions were played over 12 months as well as all the individual men’s, ladies’, seniors’, mixed and juniors matches.

KIND HEARTED: Spalding’s charity donations totalled £5642.87 this year.

The evening was well attended and, with a meal prior to the presentation of prizes and trophies, it was enjoyed by everyone.

On the fundraising front, a total of £5642.87 was generated for charity by all of the club’s sections.

TOP TITLE: Mike Crampton (left) with Gold Medal winner Mark Cooley.

Crampton’s chosen charity was the Royal British Legion, with £1886.87 going their way.

Seniors’ captain Mike Gould raised £1,706 for Bowl Cancer Research and ladies’ captain Thorold raised £2,050 for Macmillan Cancer Care.
