Air cadets hit new heights

Spalding’s top RAF Air Cadets have been recognised for their work within the squadron and the wider community.

The 1406 (Spalding) Squadron handed out the awards at a recent meeting where they also inaugurated 20 new members.

The winners were:
l Best New Recruit – Cdt Cody Witson
l Cadets, Cadet of the Year – Sgt Keris Moore
l Non-Commissioned Officer, Cadet of the Year – Cdt Elliott Dunbar
l Outstanding Effort and Performance – Sgt Keris Moore
l Most Improved Non-Commissioned Officer – Sgt Elliot Murray
l Officer Commanding Choice – Cdt Jazmin Coia
l Outstanding Achievement – FS Ebony Congreve
l Certificate of Appreciation – Civ Com Member, Mrs Lyn Kirk
l The President’s Cup – Flt Lt Phillip Prudham RAFAC

A spokesman for the squadron said: “Anyone interested in joining the Royal Air Force Air Cadets as either a cadet or adult volunteer, then please feel free to come and visit one of our open nights on and April 19 and 26. Please email 1406@rafac.mod.gov.uk for full details.”
