A look at the history of village

Take a look into the history of Gosberton is being held.
The village’s history society is putting on a Gosberton Heritage Day at the Public Hall in High Street from 10am to 4pm on Saturday, September 16.
It will include filmed guided tours of the Five Bells crossroads and High Street, a walk-along history timeline stretching 4,500 years and displays of art and photographs from the past.
There will also be an exhibition on the village’s sporting history including horse racing from 1844, shows, local football and the role of the Five Bells in all of them.
Admission is £1 and teas, coffees and refreshments will be available throughout the day.
