A host of South Holland sides set for UCL/PDFL Groundhop clashes in late July

Competitive league football returns early for South Holland sides this season – because of the UCL/PDFL Groundhop initiative.

Pinchbeck United get the new ChromaSport UCL campaign under way on Friday, July 28 with their first-ever game in UCL Division One. They will visit relegated Huntingdon Town for a showdown at Jubilee Park (7.45pm).

Saturday (July 29) then sees Holbeach United begin their UCL Premier Division campaign with a Carter’s Park clash against Sleaford Town (10.45am).

That is followed by a South Holland derby in the ChromaSport PDFL Premier Division, with title hopefuls Moulton Harrox welcoming promoted Sutton Bridge United to Broad Lane.

Also on Saturday is Spalding Town against Wisbech St Mary Saints in PDFL Division Two (4.30pm).

The final day of action on Sunday (July 30) sees another tasty all-South Holland affair, with Long Sutton Athletic hosting newly-promoted Tydd St Mary in a PDFL Division One clash (11am).
