They thrashed title hopefuls Pyramid A 7-0, with both Ben Wrigglesworth (R50) and Tony Scully (R50) making breaks of 22 en-route to frame wins.

Leaders Holbeach A cashed in on that result by beating hosts Long Sutton 5-2 in a game that saw Mick Cooper (O190) bag breaks of 62, 38 and 36.

Also on winning form were Crowland, who defeated hosts Pyramid B 5-2.

As ever, Rob Childs (O270) starred with breaks of 63, 34 and 30 in a frame win.

Paul Holland (R60) was also victorious, making a 27 break in the process.
