An 18-year-old died when the car he was travelling in collided with a building in Pinchbeck on Friday night.
The man has been named locally as Jaylee Waltham who was travelling in a black Vauxhall Astra which was involved in the collision around 8pm on Friday, January 24.
The driver of the car, a 19-year-old man, was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
A fundraiser for Jaylee’s funeral has been launched on Facebook and today (Monday) had aldreay raised over £2,000 with more than 100 donations.
It was posted by Jaylee’s aunty Lisa Henshaw.
She wrote: “My nephew Jaylee Waltham was tragically killed in a car accident Friday January 24.
“We want to give him the best send off as we can. So we are kindly asking his family and friends for any donation possible to help give him the best send off as possible.”
Among those to post tributes to Jaylee was David Morris who commented on behalf of the family: “Thank you so much for all your kind words and donations, so much love all in one place and I know every single one of us are truly grateful for everything everyone has done and is still doing.
“So from all of our family once again we thank you with all of our hearts.
“Sweet dreams little bro.”
A spokesman for Lincolnshire Police, said: “We attended a serious collision in Northgate, Pinchbeck, just after 8pm on Friday January 24.
“A black Vauxhall Astra was in collision with a property.
“The passenger of the car, an 18-year-old man was confirmed to have died at the scene, and the driver of the car, a 19-year-old man who suffered serious injuries, remains in hospital.
“We are appealing for anyone who witnessed this collision or saw this vehicle being driven to contact us on 101, incident 422 of January 24.
“We would also appeal for any dashcam footage of this location around the time of the collision.
