Body found in Spalding waterway

The body of a man in his 20s was found in the Coronation Channel on Saturday morning.

Lincolnshire Police say it was reported to them at 9.07am after being discovered near a bridge close to Birch Grove in Spalding.

A spokesman for the police, said: “The body of a man in his 20s was found near the railway bridge in the Coronation Channel area.

“There are no suspicious circumstances.”
