Three Pinchbeck Guides have been presented with the prestigious Baden Powell Awards.

Emily Clayton, Amelia Hiller and Ellie Worth of 1st Pinchbeck (St Mary) Guides were given the awards by Guide leaders Jane Amess and Bridget Scase.

It is the top award that can be achieved as a Guide. Ten challenges need to be completed such as find out about Fair Trade, visit the Exotic Pet Refuge, produce a book of healthy recipes and organise an international evening.

Finally they went on an “adventure” meeting Guides from other parts of the county. It has taken over a year to complete the award and we are very proud of their achievement.

All the girls are going to stay on as Young Leaders.

If you would like to join the group call Jane on 01775 769729. You must be aged between ten and 14 years.
