Billiards round-up: Maximum victories for Holbeach A and Gosberton A

Holbeach A were the big winners in the Spalding and District Billiards League on Monday night.

They whitewashed Pyramid B 7-0 in a game that saw James Glover (R90) and Ben Harding (R40) make breaks of 34 (unfinished) and 32 respectively.

Also 7-0 winners were Gosberton A, who beat Crowland 7-0 despite a super spree of breaks from Rob Childs (O270) including two scores of 41.

Another on-song was Marcus Pell (O20), who sank a fine 50 as Gosberton B defeated Donington 5-2. Team-mate Shane White (O30) also added an unfinished 23.

It was closer as Holbeach B edged out Pyramid A 4-3 thanks to wins from Neil Harvey (R50) and Tony Blanchard (R50).
