Lions help kids ride horses

Spalding Lions hosted an afternoon of horse riding for five children with cerebral palsy last weekend, from money raised from a recent event.

The group’s 60s and 70s night paid for the day at Four Winds Equestrian Centre at West Pinchbeck.

Lion Elaine Mothers said: “Thanks to Paula Matthews for making it a special afternoon for these special children.

“They were all presented with a rosette as they were all winners. An afternoon tea was then held for all the children to round off their day.”
