GALLERY: Pinchbeck Carnival 2019

Rain didn’t keep the crowds away from Pinchbeck Carnival at the weekend.

The annual event offered something for everyone from dance demonstrations to the Essex Dog Display Team.

Carnival Parade Queen, Abigail Slade and her assistants, Samuel Start and Gabriella Santana led the parade around the village.

Other attractions included Diamondz School of Dance, Kuk Sool Wan, the Breaston Highlanders and numerous craft and charity stalls.

A host of classic cars took part in the parade and were on display at Rotten Row.

Winners of the float competition were: 1st – 1st Pinchbeck Rainbows; 2nd – 1st Pinchbeck Guides and 3rd – 1st Pinchbeck Brownies.

The stall competition was won by Dogs Trust, with Friends of St Gilbert and St Hugh’s Church, Gosberton Clough, in second and Central German Shepherd Rescue third.

In the craft competition the WI silver salver for best adult entry was won by Amy Taylor and The Jean Russell Cup (for best child entry) was won by Freya Andrews.
