Men’s Shed gets boosted

Sutton Bridge PowerFund has given Long Sutton Men’s Shed a cash boost.

The fund donated £1,868 to the social group set up in 2017 for men to get together and work on projects, as well as spend time together.

Men’s Shed meetings take place at Silverwood Nursery in Long Sutton and run from 9.30am to 1pm every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday.

A Sutton Bridge Powerfund spokesman said it is pleased to support organisations like the Men’s Shed and would look at all grant applications favourably coming from within the Powerfund area which covers Sutton Bridge the Walpoles, Walpole Cross Keys, Foul Anchor, and Tydd St Mary.
