Dancers win big in London

Talented young dancers representing a South Holland dance studio cleared up in a big dance competition.

Polka Dot Dance Academy, which holds classes in Spalding, Long Sutton and Holbeach, took 18 dancers to London to compete in Starz UK London at The Albany Theatre. Every student went home with an award, including first prizes.

The street dance crew FUSION placed 1st, contemporary dance troupe place 1st, Ella Allmond placed 1st in her solo, Grace Scott placed 1st in solo, Jessica Clark placed 1st in her solo, Miranda Hutchinson placed 2nd in her solo,

Miranda Hutchinson and Danielle Barton placed 1st in their duo, and Harvey Graham, Avnee Uglow and Jessica Clark placed 2nd in their trio.
