Last chance to Give a Gift this Christmas

It’s your last chance to help make a child’s Christmas by donating to the Give a Gift appeal.

We’ve had a fantastic response so far but every gift will unwrap a whole world of delight for a young person aged between three and 14 on Christmas Day who might otherwise receive nothing.

The generous people at Westlode Fisheries in Spalding dropped off a fantastic car load of goodies to the drop off point at The Spalding Voice’s office this week.

Fardous Ali, three-year-old Maryam Masaud and Westlode Fisheries mascot with some of the toys they collected.

One fantastically generous person donated over £100 worth of gifts to the drop off point in Beale’s department store.

The Spalding branch’s store director, Belinda Campbell, said: “We’re delighted to once again support this fantastic initiative and help less fortunate children in and around Spalding.

“This type of initiative is exactly what is needed to bring communities together and give something back at such a special time of year, Beales are proud to be a part of it.”
We’ll Let Your House director Harry Drury set up Give a Gift in 2011 and it continues to go from strength to strength.

“Thank you to all those who have donated so far,” Harry said. “All of the fantastic gifts will make the difference to a young person’s Christmas Day, but there’s still the chance to ensure even more children get a present to savour on December 25.”

Gifts need to be donated unwrapped by 5pm on Monday to The Voice. Other collection points are Baytree Winter Wonderland; We’ll Let Your House, 10 Broad Street, Spalding; Sainsbury’s, Holland Market; Beales Department Store, Market Place, Spalding, South Holland District Council, Priory Road, Spalding and Thomas Campbell estate agent, Market Place, Boston.
