Which pharmacies are open on Bank Holiday Monday?

A number of pharmacies will be open over the Bank Holiday weekend for emergencies.

But many GP surgeries and dispensaries will be closed until Tuesday morning.

The NHS is urging people to make sure they are stocked-up with any over the counter medicine they may need ahead of the weekend if at all possible.

Medical advice for non-emergency situations is available by telephone on 111 for the out of hours service.

In Spalding, Boots, Hall Place, will be open from 10am to 4pm on Bank Holiday Monday.

Lloyds Pharmacy, inside Sainsbury’s, will be open from 8am to 4pm.

There will also be a pharmacy open within the Bourne branch of Tesco, South Road, from 9am to 6pm.

The Asda store in Boston will have its pharmacy open from 9am to 6pm and the town’s Boots, is also open from 10am to 4pm.

For further details on services available in the area, see the website www.nhs.uk and search for your area with the postcode finder. The website also has information on urgent care centres and minor injury units.
