Get ready to dig Adventure Land at Springfields

A beach and digger themed area are among the offerings at a major new children’s attraction opening in Spalding this summer.

The Springfields Adventure Land park is due to open alongside the shopping outlet soon, though an exact date has yet to be revealed.

It will include the UK’s largest JCB Young Drivers Zone which boasts the opportunity for children to drive around in bright yellow pedal diggers and enjoy the huge JCB slide and scaffold-themed climbing frame.

Families will be able to walk through the trees in the new Tree Top Village that has eight wooden towers and a massive 12sqm suspended net.

Springy’s Beach is set to offer a sand play area and rock pool water stream all covered by a huge canopy.

The relaunched Dino Golf and Goldie’s Gold Mine will also be a part of the new area.

Visitors can ride the miniature railway, aptly named Springy’s Railroad, through the woodland or the take the overground Adventure Land Express train through the scenic, award-winning Festival Gardens.

A new restaurant, Springy’s American Diner is also set to add to the collection of eateries on site for the 2018 season.

Ian Sanderson, who developed the scheme, now Director of SLR Outlets which asset manages the scheme, said: “We love seeing people enjoying our unique blend of shopping and leisure, but we wanted to create an even better day out for all the family.

“Springfields Adventure Land, combined with great brands all offering significant discounts, and a wide choice of restaurants and cafés, will give families more reasons to travel from further afield, stay for longer and return more often.”

The centre itself has also had a re-brand with a new logo and website, http://springfieldsoutlet.co.uk
