Flasher (81) banned from entering shop alone

An 81-year-old has been found guilty of exposing himself in Long Sutton’s Co-op store.

George Henry Booth, of Jubilee Court, Long Sutton, had pleaded not guilty to the charge of exposing his genitals so that someone would see them and be caused alarm and distress on October 16, 2017.

The offence occurred while he was subject to a sexual harm prevention order made by Lincoln Crown Court in January 2016.

Magistrates at Boston sitting on April 27 found Booth guilty. He was discharged conditionally but a restraining order was made meaning he may not enter the Co-op, save in the company of one of his daughters.

He was ordered to pay a £20 victim surcharge and ordered to pay £200 costs.
