Hospice gets Easter treats from Spalding solicitors

Patients at Sue Ryder’s Thorpe Hall were delighted to receive 70 Easter eggs donated by Roythornes Solicitors and their staff.

A spokesman for Roythornes in Spalding said: “The aim of the initiative was purely to bring a smile to the faces of the residents and to those benefiting from the hospice’s bereavement counselling services and day treatment.”

The appeal was organised by Roythornes’ internal events team, which is led by the company’s Naomi Liston.

Naomi said: “As a firm we know how important it is to give something back to the community and to those less fortunate than ourselves – anything we can do to bring a little bit of joy to those undergoing end of life care.”

The firm also conducts an annual drive in aid of the Peterborough Soup Kitchen, as well as supporting the Lincolnshire charity LIVES as their charity of the year.
