LETTER: Flytipping is happening again in Spalding

It is only a matter of weeks since my last communication with SHDC about fly tipping at Holland Road car park.

I have to say that the previous tip was cleared within a couple of days of my report.

Now, once again, the Flat Clearance Operatives have been at work – a mountain of detritus in the car park (pictured above), leaving it for me, a council tax payer, on limited retirement income, to pick up the tab for these inconsiderate wretches who think it acceptable to dump their unwanted stuff for everybody else to clear up!

Could SHDC perhaps investigate where this dumped rubbish has come from – there must be some forensic clues – and then send the clear-up bill to the management agents of the property?

Then perhaps the management company would apply some rules to their tenants! But I am not holding my breath!

SHDC seems to be a toothless dog when it comes to rubbish in the town of Spalding.
