More success for Spalding Gymnastics Club at top Tulips Team event

Spalding Gymnastics Club held its popular annual Tulips Team and Individual competition recently – and once again it was a massive success.

Clubs from different regions took part, meaning the Cradge Bank event gave a good representation of the standard of gymnastics in the different areas.

In the level five junior team, Spalding’s Nell Soltys, Lily Kelk, Paige Owen and Chloe Kirman took the bronze medal against tough opposition.

At level four, Amelia Fox won the silver medal on bars and beam, while also coming fourth on vault and third overall.

Daisy Cross also won the silver medal on vault, while Georgina Harrison bagged the bronze medal on floor and vault.

At level three, Spalding Enigma won the bronze in the team competition, with Spalding Estelle fourth.

Individually, Emmi Bell won the gold on vault and Darcy Orford won the silver on floor, while Miah Farrell took the silver on bars and vault, while also adding the bronze on floor.

Level two was won by Dave’s Gymnastic Club (Colchester), with Spalding in the silver medal position.

Alice Baxter won the bronze on bars and vault while also coming fourth on beam, then Ruby Vertuccio got the silver on bars and bronze overall.
