Long Sutton Music In The Park back with full bill

Music In The Park returns to Long Sutton’s Winfrey Park with an impressive 11-act line-up.

The summer fun day takes place on Sunday, August 27 at 10am and runs until 10pm.

As well as live music and entertainment, the day also offers a fun fair, market stalls and food and drink outlets.

The entertainment will begin with Polka Dot Dance Academy taking the stage.

The first musical act will be local artist Little Lal, who will perform perfect Sunday morning soul covers and her own jazz songs.

Other acts due on stage include the four-piece ukulele band BUGS, who perform 60s and 70s classics.

No stranger to Music In The Park is Clayton, who returns for his fifth year
performing his Elvis Presley and Johnny Cash covers.

Rock covers band The Moll Grips see in the evening, before duo The

Dream Belles sing sweet melodies from the 40s through to ABBA.

Fun-time function band Jinx’d perform before sinnger Della, and then Detroit PowerHouse close the day with some Motown and funk.

Organiser Jack Tyrrell from EELS (Events and Entertainment in Long Sutton) hopes for the day: “That we have the sun on your backs, looking at good entertainment and be surrounded by your family.”
