More than £4,000 was raised for Help for Heroes at a spectacular concert held in Spalding.

The RAF Swing Wing concert, organised by Graham Dark and held at the South Holland Centre, raised an amazing £4,249, which takes the total raised from RAF band concerts, to more than £30,000.

Mr Dark said: “The concert was again a great success and a complete sell out.

“In addition to showing their support for such a worthy charity, the audience were treated to outstanding musical entertainment performed by the talented operational servicemen and women who make up the RAF Swing Wing.

“The combination of Warrant Officer Gary Stevens’ presentation and the talent of Matt Ford, who is regarded as the UK’s best big band singer made it such an enjoyable evening that I am already being inundated with requests for tickets for the next H4H concert on December 4.”
