A popular village fair is hoping to showcase eye-catching motorbikes, trikes and scooters at this year’s event.
Whaplode Drove and Country Fair wants to hear from anyone keen to exhibit a vintage vehicle at the July event.
The entries will be lined up alongside the fair’s annual display of classic vehicles.
Committee chairman Mandie Collier said: “We’re always looking at ways to add to the event and keep it fresh and attractive.
“We’d like anyone wanting to display a motorbike, trike or scooter to get in touch.
“We’re hoping this will prove to be another popular addition.”
The classic vehicles on display will include tractors and threshing machines.
The fair, which is held at the Elizabethan Centre and is the main fundraiser for it, is being held on Saturday, July 20 (11am-5pm). Organisers are hoping to top the £3,000 raised at last year’s event.
The theme for this year is scarecrows and there’s a host of craft competitions for adults and juniors. There are also a display of bygones, craft and produce shows, demonstrations, live music and a funfair.
Food and drink will be available from stalls and a licensed bar.
Mandie added: “It’s free entry to the show and free parking so we’re hoping for lots of visitors.
“There’s great fun for all the family.”
Entry forms for the craft competitions are available from the village store or from Mandie on 01406 330144.
