Baytree Garden Centre extends its sponsorship of Spalding town centre Christmas tree

spalding-christmas-tree-donationBaytree Garden Centre is ensuring that Spalding town centre will have a Christmas tree after all.

The Weston business has offered to donate a tree, despite saying last month that it would not be able to this year due to a shortage of larger trees.

Last week Coun Jack McLean, chairman of Spalding Town Forum, was invited by Baytree’s managing director Reinhard Biehler to choose a tree.

Coun McLean said: “For years, Baytree Garden Centre has supported the town with their donated trees but concerns were raised over a shortage of larger trees. Nonetheless, they have continued again for another year and we are hugely grateful for their continued support.”

Coun Jack Tyrrell said he was grateful for Baytree’s support of Christmas decorations in Long Sutton in recent years.
