Emma leads amazing South Lincs Competitive Swimming Club medal spree

Nine members from South Lincs Competitive Swimming Club returned home from the Golden Eagle Level 2 meet at Bletchley with a huge haul of 39 medals.

The team put in an outstanding performance and also clocked 13 new Midland Qualifying Times (MQT) between them.

The standout performance came from Emma Croker, who entered eight races in the 11-year-old age group and won seven gold medals and a silver, as well as her very first MQT.

Also competing for SLCSC were Colin O’Reilly, Andre Ubaviciute, Aurinija Maliauskaite, Luke Elliot, Hannah Willis, Ellisha Cookson, Alice Gowing and Dusty Saines.

A club spokesperson said: “The team were a joy. They represented their club with great sportsmanship and should be congratulated.”
