LETTER: Referendum as explained to a cricketer

The EU referendum: as explained to a cricketer.

In the UK’s EU referendum, there were two sides – in and out.

Some from the right wanted in, or out, and some from the left wanted out, or in.

Others were neither in nor out, but more wanted out, so we are all out. Perhaps.

Those from the capital and others wanted in and are cross at being out and some put a cross in out and now want in. Allegedly.

The main man from the right wanted in but is now out and is walking out.

He who sought to get us all out, is now out, having been in and out several times.

The one from the left wanted in, is now wanted out, but is not walking out.

Someone, May perhaps who wanted in, will have to talk to those who want us out to sort things out, and then, in time, will we look back and think it quite strange when all we wanted, was for the rules to change?

Howzat!
