Networking event hailed success

Over 40 local businesses attended a networking event organised by Spalding and District Chamber of Commerce, highlighting the passion and optimism amongst local businesses.

The evening offered businesses the chance to network with other businesses, gain new customers and meet reliable suppliers.

Chamber president Phil Scarlett said: “It was a great evening, which was well received – it was the first event I have been involved with where every single delegate that registered attended.”

The evening started with a supper provided by Spalding Club in Broad Street, followed by a brief session where delegates had the chance to introduce themselves to the group.

“Each of the delegates showed great passion for their businesses, and the Chamber is very proud to be associated with and represent local businesses in South Holland,” continued Phil.

Kay Weijers from Kayandco Coaching Specialists said: “It was such a treat to attend a networking event that had such a buzz and eclecticism!

“The hosting was brilliant and the hospitality so very well received by all.”
