Spalding Round Table gives £500 backing to Spalding Water Polo bid to play in National League

Spalding Water Polo’s bid to play in the National League for the first time has received £500 support from Spalding and District Round Table.

Spalding Water Polo treasurer Nick Rickett said: “We’re applying to the National League, which is available to only 40 teams.
“We’re very grateful to Spalding Round Table for the donation.”

News of the application is expected this month.

Nick added: “If we’re successful with it, we’d love to hear from anyone interested in sponsorship.”

Round Table chairman Sam Nundy said: “We are proud to be able to support them in their quest to join the National League. They are a great bunch of lads and I wish them well in their attempts to climb the leagues.”
