Youngsters graduate from nursery

Youngsters leaving Fleet’s Willows Day Nursery marked their departure with a special graduation ceremony.

The ceremony was part of a family barbecue held at the nursery, which included a pirate-themed sports day and Big Toddle raising over £600 for Barnardo’s.

The 22 children that graduated had joined the nursery as babies when it first opened in 2012.

Owner Vicky Pitts said: “They and their parents know that they will always be very special to us.

“Although we’re sad to see both children and families leave, we are immensely proud of each child’s achievements and how excited and prepared they are about going to “big school” and to see how a group of parents that didn’t know each other have all bonded together and have formed friendships as their children have.”
