LETTER: Police will only attend even numbered homes?

If it is true that police forces are to consider only attending reported burglaries of even numbered properties, will those people in odd numbered ones be entitled to rebates from the police precept?

Will there be greater risk for those residents of odd numbered properties as I’m sure that burglars can also read the reports.

I’m considering removing my house number to make it slightly more difficult for the burglars.
