Talented Pinchbeck United lads toasting back-to-back trebles

Pinchbeck United under-15s are reflecting on a stunning season that saw them clinch a terrific treble… for the second year on the spin.

Managed by Richard Withers, Pinchbeck won the Peterborough Youth League and both League Cups (beating Eye and Phoenix) that were up for grabs.

The league was their most dramatic triumph, as they clinched the trophy on the final day of the campaign.

Having not been top all season, Pinchbeck went into the final game of the season needing a victory to have any chance of winning the championship.

They fulfilled their end of the deal, beating Phoenix 4-1. Meanwhile, rivals Eye – who went into the game level with Pinchbeck – lost to Deeping to hand the title to the talented United lads.

Winning back-to-back trebles is an amazing achievement for Pinchbeck, who managed to lift the Lincs Cup among their treble as an under-14 side in their first trio of trophies.
