Title D-light for Lincoln Arms

Lincoln Arms D wrapped up the Dewhursts Trophies Pinchbeck & District Summer League Division B title in the final scheduled week of fixtures.
They won 16-11 at home against Green Dragon Z. Stacey Banister hit a 180 in her 2-1 singles victory.
Consti Club B secured runners-up spot, despite a 17-10 defeat to Drayman’s Arms B, with Connor Newton and Kev Newton both hitting 180s for Drayman’s.
Playing twice in one night, Drayman’s also won 14-13 at Consti Club Z, where Jake Harris added another 180.
Bottom side Drayman’s Arms Q suffered a 20-7 home defeat to Consti Club D, with Martyn Hare their only winner.
Pinchbeck FC C, who completed their fixtures two weeks earlier, had to wait to see if they would be crowned Division C champions. However, a 16-11 home defeat to Consti Club A for second-placed Services Club A was not enough for them to take top spot.
Lincoln Arms C ended their campaign with a 15-12 home win over Green Dragon C, with Nigel Goodwin hitting a 180.
Division A remains undecided. Earlier in the week, long-time leaders Lincoln Arms A lost 16-11 to second-placed Royal Mail Cart in a match that produced 72 scores of 100 or more. There were 180s for John Charlton and Steve Stancer of Lincoln, and for Mark Waters of Mail Cart. Waters also hit a 17-dart leg and, with partner Jason Vines, added another 17-dart leg in the pairs. Josh Ford produced a 15-dart leg, while Chris Fidler hit two 18-dart legs for Mail Cart.
Lincoln Arms A then travelled to bottom side Green Dragon A for their final game, winning 16-11. Karl Rolfe and John Charlton both hit 180s, with Charlton also hitting a 15-dart leg. Dan Martin and Scott Williams (two) hit 180s for the Dragon, with Williams producing legs of 13 and 17 darts in his 3-0 win over Dean Murray. Paul Blow and Steve Stancer added a 16-dart leg in the pairs for Lincoln.
Royal Mail Cart, with one game left, sit 13 points behind the leaders after a narrow 14-13 win at Tigers Club. Dan Gent won the final singles 2-1 to secure the victory, including an 18-dart leg. Tigers had 180s from Claire Brookin (two), Brett Butler Brewster and Ash Allen.
Kirton Leisure won 15-12 at Pinchbeck FC A.
Consti Club C ended their season with an 18-9 home win over Services Club B. Jordan Philpott hit a 180 for Consti and, with partner Paul Faulkner, recorded a 16-dart leg in the pairs. Josh Faulkner hit a 100 checkout (20, tops, tops) and, with Jacob Herd, added an 18-dart leg. Dave Norbury was the only winner for Services, taking the final game 3-0.
The first Knockout Cup finalist was confirmed when Tigers Club won 6-3 at Services Club B. Simon Hill and Jayden Lee secured the victory in the singles. Dave Norbury was in excellent finishing form for Services, with checkouts of 143 and 132, while Ady Smith hit an 18-dart leg in his singles win.
