Lincoln strengthen their position at top of table

Lincoln Arms A strengthened their position at the top of Division A with a commanding 21–6 away victory at Kirton Leisure.

Steve Stancer produced the standout performance of the night, hitting two 180s and a 18dart leg.

Nathan Hill claimed the only win for the home side, edging out Jon Young 2-1.

Royal Mail Cart closed the gap in second place after a dominant 25-2 home win over Green Dragon A.

Simon Horton secured the Dragon’s only singles leg in his 2-1 defeat to Jason Vines, who hit a 16-dart leg.

In the pairs, Chris Fidler and Daz Gedney impressed with a 17-dart leg during their 3-0 win.

A tight contest at Pinchbeck FC B saw Services Club B emerge 14-13 winners.

Trailing 9-3 after the first singles, victories for Tony Clark, Dave Norbury, Jonny Pell and Steve Rawding for Services levelled the match at 12-12.

That left a final game decider between Connor Mackenzie and Ady Smith, with Smith winning 2-1 and sealing the match with a 180.

Mackenzie had earlier hit a 180 in the pairs.

Lincoln Arms D moved to the top of Division B with a 17-10 home win over Drayman’s Arms B.

Leading 10-2 after Kev Carter’s 3-0 win over Connor Newton, the Drayman’s rallied with three singles wins before Tony Spinks and Luke Rhodes secured the final two games for the Lincoln, Rhodes hitting a 180.

Consti Club Z enjoyed a welcome 19-8 away win at bottom side Drayman’s Arms Q.

Tom Atkinson earned the home side’s only success, beating Si Barnett 3-0.

Jason Chilvers struck a 180 in his pairs game for the Drayman’s.

Pinchbeck FC C extended their lead at the top of Division C with a comprehensive 20-7 away win at Green Dragon C.

Leading 5-4 after the pairs, successive 3-0 victories from Nigel Foster, Graham Mathews, Gary Coomes and Kenzie Foster put them firmly in control.

Owen Morrell claimed the Dragon’s only singles win before Graham Amess sealed the final game 2-1 for the Football Club.

Lincoln Arms C moved into second place with a 15-12 home win over bottom side Drayman’s Arms A.

A 3-0 win for Josh Stretton and a 2-1 success for Jack Lawson were the only highlights for the visiting Drayman’s.
