Spalding Darts League’s Cup semi final night has decided the first finals of the season.
In the Supreme Cup, Lincoln Arms A romped to the final beating Royal Mail Cart 8-1.
The Lincoln went 2-0 up and the only game they lost was the third pairs game where Jacob Herd and Ash Allen won for the Mail Cart. From that point on it was plain sailing and the Lincoln only dropped five legs with Steve Stancer and Jake Merrill hitting 180s in their wins. For the Royal Mail Cart Josh Faulkner had a 114 check out.
The Lincoln will meet Consti A in the final who beat Ye Olde Abbey 8-1.
The Consti romped into the night and won seven games in a row before Dean Parker got a game for the Abbey.
Consti A’s Sam Roberts had a 101 check out in his victory.
In the Division 2 Dick Morgan Cup, Riverside B beat Mulberrys 5-4.
Riverside went 2-1 up after the pairs game and then extended this to 3-1 thanks to a win from Daz Norton.
Sonia Kwaterowska’s win gave Mulberrys a chance, but Chris Taylor made it 4-2 to Riverside beating Nathan Sage.
Mulberrys continued the fight and Wigs Harrison won to make it 4-3.
The all-important win came from Josh Higgins to put Riverside in the final, but his game wasn’t easy as Reece
Winkley hit a 180, and 102 and 100 check outs in the game.
Riverside B will play Consti E in the final who also got through a tight game beating Holbeach Services A 5-4.
Consti E went 2-1 up but wins for Danny Goddard and Chris Chamberlain put Holbeach 3-2 up.
Consti fought back and wins from Dan Gent, and Mark Dixon put the Consti in the driving seat.
Chris Blakey then won for Holbeach to make it 4-4 and a last game decider.
Craig Woods held his nerve and thanks to a 110 check out, he won his singles to put the Consti through.
In a rearranged game Riverside A beat Five Bells 5-4 with Jonny Pell hitting a 119 check out.
In the Division 3 Kelly Foster Cup, Punchbowl could not field a team and therefore Riverside C go through to the final.
The other semi final was won 8-1 by Pinchbeck FC C who beat Moulton Harrox.
With the teams both near the top of the table it was likely to be a close game, but Pinchbeck walked through the game with Dan Wright being the only winner for Harrox. He also fired in a 180 in his victory.
The two teams also played a rearranged league game, and Pinchbeck came out on top again but with a much closer 5-4 win.
Pinchbeck went 2-1 up in the pairs and the three singles wins for Pinchbeck came from Liam Dawson, Gary Coomes, and Ricky Dickinson.
Ash Brown had a 100 check out in the pairs for Pinchbeck and Tony Vickovic hit a 180 in his game.
